Rhymes With Orange Newsletter #6

Hi folks!

Welcome to the next installment of our Charming-Yet-Infrequent Newsletter!

The biggest news is that the web site got an L.A.-style face lift which would put Cher's doctor to shame. The best part is the expanded Favorites Library-- you can now spend hours amusing yourself instead of all that hard-hitting research and writing you usually do while sitting at your
computer. Take a break-- it's Miller time, without the ensuing beer gut.

There's also an updated/expanded FAQs section and easier navigation. My web techs have worn their finger prints off from all the programming, so I hope you like it!

Things at RWOWH (Rhymes With Orange World Headquarters) are humming along. I just did an interview with "The Bark" magazine for their Fall issue. "The Bark" is kind of like "The New Yorker" for dog lovers--their motto is "Dog is my co-pilot." They have beautiful photos and artwork and well-written stories and articles. I like the print version, but you can see a taste of
them online at http://www.thebark.com

In other dog-related news, I've flushed two ticks down the toilet.

Transportation highlights-- I got to ride on a penny farthing bicycle. That's the old-fashioned kind with the huge front wheel and teeny back wheel. It was part of the ride-your-bike-to-work kick off breakfast. As a fan and supporter of all things on two wheels, it was a real kick.

Other transportation highlights-- I fulfilled a childhood dream by buying a beat-up 1978 Puch moped. It get a million miles a gallon, approximately.

And now for the shameless plug-- If you get the strip Monday through Saturday, and want to see the lively color Sunday strip, e-mail your editor and tell them. I love doing the color Sundays because there's more room to stretch out, artistically speaking. It's just fun.

Oh, and Recycled Paper Greetings has turned a couple of the postcards sold on the site into greeting cards. Watch for them.

That's everything. Hope everyone is having a lazy summer.
